Here is a link to my own satire. I took an M&M's wrapper and exagerrated the nutrition facts to make the product seem extremely bad for you. Since my project is about healthy choices, I made comments on my wrapper like: "this product is diabetes in a bag, or this will clog arteries" in order to discourage people from buying the product.

Satire Example 1:

This website contains a video that is really funny! It was about a lady who wrote a book on eating healthy. I originally thought that the book was the satire and then realized that the video was the satire. It was really funny and very entertaining. It showed how ridiculous people can sometimes be when it comes to being healthy because they think they're fat when they aren't or they pick on tiny calories that wouldn't make a difference. It was very entertaining to watch once you realized it was a satire.

Satire Example 2:

This was a satire that was about fast food and its service. I found it to be funny to read but at the end I was confused on whether the person was bashing fast food or saying that people support it more. It had me seeing all the negatives about fast food and I wasn't quite sure that that was what the satire was exactly intending to do. It was interesting to read but maybe could have been more clear at the end.

Satire Example 3:

http://naturalsociety.com/study-finds-junkfood-is-essential-to-live-contains-vital-nutrient-junk-satire/

This satire was all about junk food being healthy and essential to living. It was comical and showed how lazy people can sometimes be with eating. It also shows just how terrible the food industry has become and how we are poisoning our bodies. I liked at the end that the writer wrote the truth about whats really going on in order to show the satire but then also show how the world is in reality.
